A mixed bag of random thoughts ...

Helloooo my dears....

Its been a really long time since i collated a few english alphabets together into a collection of meaningful words properly indented and spaced apart or in other words, i haven't written so much as a paragraph in 2 years ...

Now, AFAIR(as far as i remember...the usage is courtesy to the it services industry i am currently employed at), it was during the third of my so called B.Tech education that i bid adieu to scribbling something here ... And i deem that would be the best place to start my next venture at becoming a serious blogger ... Mind you, i really meant it when i used the word VENTURE .. I have always dreamed and still believe that blogging would someday make me a billionaire( a belief akin to theism )... After all, we are Indians... We are Driven by laziness and Powered by morality(tradition) and not to forget , we have the most basic of human needs - TO BE A BILLIONAIRE .. Thus i deduced that there is nothing that fits our bill more than BLOGGING ... Blogging is as much for Indians, as BEEF roast is to ghee rice .. Any reading this should know that , when i name a non-veg dish in a sentence , it usually means , i am damn serious about what i am saying ... though i have to say that sometimes it might just mean that i was hungry as hell when i was writing the sentence ...

Now on a completely different note ... Does the emboldened phrase seems catchy .. Actually some company whose name starts with INF and ends with OSYS has an altered version of this phrase as part of their motto ... hardly do they realise that every indian has a right to sue them for copywright ..

Anyways as i was saying ..the third year of my college .. If you think i remember in any detail what happened those 2 years, you will be disappointed ... All that comes to my mind are a few faces .. some pleasant ... some revolting(most of them my so called classmates ... i was more of a college-hostel student ... in other words did not see much of the classes or the classmates) ...
And not a single beautiful face (any one who studied in a government engineering college will know this to be a heart-wrenching true story.. coming to think of it,this something would even have been the sole reason behind nearly 90% smoking and booze rate in government colleges among boys .. )

It is absolutely overwhelming and not a bit surprising to look back at all those years and find that so many facts were staring at my face all the time ... so very many realisations ....

The Biggest of them all .... GALS ARE INJURIOUS TO HEALTH ... lol (though i am not a big fan of the SMS lingo .. i do agree that it is sometimes the best way to end a sentence)

hoping to blog again and ...again .... and again ... until i am a billionaire :D

A Belated 'About Me'

Robert Frost had written 

"Miles to go before i sleep....
Miles to go before i sleep....."

Many take these words (too) seriously and adopt it as their driving force .... but not me..
I say instead 
"Hours to sleep before i go...
Hours to sleep before i go..."

As many of u might have noted ... i am lazy...i am carefree ...i am irresponsible ... i am everything that is a planned and organised individual's nightmare... 

My motto - "Har pal yahaan .. jee bhar jiyo...jo he samaa.. kal ho na ho "

My ambition - "earn lots of money and retire from work at the earliest"

I love my parents ,my bros & sis' and my friends .... 
In short i hate very few individuals...

I am a true blue romantic and a dreamer ....

Thats basically me in 5 marks ...

For an essay question of 15 marks , i think elaborating the points citing examples will do it ....

And speaking of examples .. i think theres just too many of them...

Some very funky lyrics followed by some chic direction,choreography and some quality Hip Hop music makes this an instant hit among the youth.But the limelight of the show is none other than Mr.Salim "Akon" Kumar...Hes the soul of the song....

It seems "Malayalees" should not be called "Mala-ya-lees" anymore......

Maybe "Mala-Yo-lees" would be more appropriate...just kidding...

The Year Of the "Chali"

Chinese say it is the year of the rat that we are passing through now.But i dare to differ my dears.I dont give a dirty rats ass as to what the chinese think , but i can certainly say that it is the Year Of The "Chali" that is raging on.....

The word "Chali" has its origins deep rooted in Indian mythology...In one of the books written at that time by a famous somebody..I am sure it was Kunthi..It is mentioned that--
"Ramano a-Thorthilla...laxmananoooo mundilla" was a hit in the courts of RVN(a.k.a Ravanan)....Just Kidding(as if i had to say so)....

Over the long years after that , chali had developed into an art form(documents from that time are very scarce), only to fade away leaving memories that became legends and even these legends faded away to myths in the coming years...only to be broken once in a while by a chali of humongous magnitude...

Steve Jobs(Co-Founder of Apple Computers & presently CEO of Apple) had remarked soon after the company was founded that--
"Newton was lucky that Apple computers were not found before his time.Otherwise he would have died when the apple fell on his head and we wouldnt have any idea of gravitation".
He is considered by many the father of modern Chalis.

It is rightly said that after every fall there is a rise....

It was during such an era(the year 2008) when even those myths(about the chalis) were long forgotten that the revival of this art form fell into the hands of some unlikely heroes at an unlikely time in an unlikely place.

As it is the Year 2008 would be henceforth Known in the future as The Year Of The Chali...

The heroes were a group of wanna be computer science engineers in a dingy hostel room , praying(not studying) their hearts out to pass in the coming exam.

They Embraced the power and grew to be feared by one and all , for no one(no matter how strong,how sturdy,how prepared they were) could stand their chalis for long.

They came to be known as The "C" Company.

The Hardware Guru

Helloo there , my dears....

A lot happened during the past week...The best and worst were the same--- exam results were published....And apart from that theres another disaster approaching---my next exams....

Its a weird world out there...All we do is complain that the exams are getting delayed and the next instant when the exam dates are published , all we hope is that they get delayed further...What an irony?...

Now resuming from where i let you off....

Bsnl had introduced the 2mbps broadband connection....After much tech talk , in simpler words blah-blah-blah [so that my parents couldnt understand a word], i convinced them to take the connection....
[I had even told them that the basic requirements for human survival had undergone a change...Now it was Google,Orkut and Youtube.... rather than Air,Water and Food... just kidding]..

"The World At your Fingertips"--- Its not just a simple one-liner...I experienced this to the fullest..I admit that i was seduced by the omni-potent web...There were marathon sessions in the middle of the night where i would follow an endless trail of links , as if i was the ONE[copyright Matrix] destined to unravel the deepest mysteries of the web...If my Bookmarks had tongues , they would have spoken volumes about my unending quests.

And it was during one of such marathons , i fell upon the ever updating topic of PC Hardware...I got a new purpose for my browsing sessions and soon it turned into a burning passion...I was eager to update myself on anything and everything about it...PC over-clocking was one of the risky endeavors [i lost my PC power supply ,mother board and hard disk to this noble cause]....I was truly bitten by the hardware bug....

On that note i bid adieu to u all for now....

Hey guys and my dearest gals....
Thinking of writing something for a long time now.....u know nearly 5 minutes[Seriously i havent thought of anything for so long]......but due to the availability of a lot of time or because i was not at all busy i couldnt enlighten you...

Now for a small introduction about myself....

Name's Ali...Ajmal Ali....[U would doubt this line has been copied...Ya i too felt so..but the sensation soon passed]....I am a humble student of one of the most wonderful colleges in the state--GEC, Thrissur...The college is so good that one tends to forget that he is trapped in one of the most horrible departments that could be formed in the history of any college and in a superb university where toilet paper is considered much more holier than his exam answer sheet....Now thats it with the intro...

During my +2 schooling,there were duels between myself and my parents regarding the course i should take and mind you,these duels were reminiscent of the film troy[Am i exaggerating?..u could say so...but i think my point is clear]....They were vouching for me to follow the footsteps of HIPPOCRATES.....But I didnt like his beard...And thats the only reason i didnt opt medicine[forget about the MBBS entrance part]....I seem like a loser dont i?...

I had dreams...Big dreams....And that thanks to some serious plotting on the part of GOD was lost .... And i was left stranded in this present state onlooking a possibly unknown future[A future that never exists]....

On a good note...i have learned not to dream....Coz dreams always remain elusive of the dreamer.....
